Thank you very much for this info. Very tired of waiting. I will be working on this in the coming weeks.

Wow!! This is awesome! I have wanted PC to give us the ability to hide/uninstall/disable unwanted cartridges for the longest time. Since they haven't done it, I guess it took a hardcore Cricutter to figure it out. This is so easy...going to do it NOW! Thank you so much for sharing!

The bottom of your blog says "Feel free to share the information on this blog. But please give credit where credit is due...... "

Please note: http://www.cricut.com/messageboard/tm.aspx?m=6302849&mpage=1&key=&#6302849 I was the first to post about removing carts from the library and you replied on that thread "Well done on the experiment!

Do you mind if I post something about this on my blog? (With credit to you of course!)

Narelle "
I don't see credit for the idea (especially since I took the risk in the first place.) May seem petty but I found it a bit hypocritical.

I have updated the post Tam giving you credit.

In my defence your original post was made in March and I've just got around to doing the tutorial now. I honestly had no idea where I originally read it and I hadn't subscribed to the post. Thanks for posting the link.

My apologies.

It wasn't my intention to be hypocritical at all.

Ok, no problem! Sorry! Sometimes it just little things that get us. I don't have amazing scrap talents or anything so it's nice to impress people once in awhile. LOL

Feel free to delete these posts now.

I came across this post by accident...but, because I'm a computer geek, I figured out removing unwanted carts from the font folders would speed up the load time. There are many crafter's out there, though, that don't know they can do this. Provocraft should share this with Cricuteers as well.

Thank you so much for posting this! I went from 140 second load time to 14! They should really tell this to their customers, cuz it was crazy how long it took to load! Love the website by the way. Just bought DS and still on the fence how it compares to SCAL!

Thank you so much for your excellent tutorial on how to deselect the carts you don't want DS to bring up. I only have about 50 carts, and it will be nice to have only the ones I use for now. Hugs, dj

Thank you SO much for posting this tutorial! My biggest complaint about DS has always been the slooooow load time - this has really sped things up!

This is really great. I have just 42 cartridges and it was taking 10 min to load until I did this. Another tip that I found helpful is that I have a MSWord list of all my cartridges in alphabetical order. I use it to share carts with friends and to make sure I don't buy something I may already have :) Having this list on my screen made deleting all the others a cinch!
