Thank you so much for this wonderful site. So much valuable info. I was really getting discouraged with DS until I saw your blog. Again, thanks so much for all you do!

Thanks for all the info. I'm having some trouble, though, and I hope you can help. I want to give a title to the untitled page for my DS creations. I've tried right clicking my mouse, but to no avail. How do I give a title to my untitled pages? Thanks -
Renee

To name your page you need to right click ON THE PAGE - not the tab. You will see a dialog box where you need to hi-lite and over type the words "untitled page" with your new name then press Enter.

Hope that helped!

I'll need a bit more information to help you out. Is everything in the one object box or is each letter in it's own object box? Feel free to email the file to me at girlfromoz2009 at hotmail dot com. I'll take a look and email you back.

First I want to thank you for all the information you have shared here with us newbies. I have 3 questions: 1) how do you assign a color to the object so they show when using the preview feature 2) how do I save a list of my cartridges 3) how do I add keywords if it's not already in the list?

1. You can't assign a colour to a particular object, but you can assign a colour to all the objects on a particular page. To do that right click on a blank part of the page and select Set Preview Color from the drop down box. Then select the color you want. Note - this only works for objects that HAVEN'T been welded. Once you weld an object it will show as a solid outline with no colour.

2. To save carts into your My Cartridges list, double click on a cartridge from the All By Category cartridge library so that its virtual keypad is showing on the screen. Then select Preferences, then My Cartridge. Repeat double clicking on each cart you own and adding them as above.

3. To assign keywords move your cursor over the key you want to assign so that the key appears bigger. Right click and type the keyword in the box.

Hope that helped! Think I'll add these to my Quick tips. Thanks for the ideas.
